Mykola Tomenko asks to Interfere Immediately in the Situation concerning the National Nature Park "Synevyr"
In March of the current year, Regional Council of Zakarpattia without any agreements with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the direction of the park has transferred the part of the National Park "Synevyr" into municipal property. In two month the decision to create municipal enterprise "Synevyr Lake" was adopted by the same council. Moreover in May of the current year the illegal building works were start on the territory of the Park.
Mykola Tomenko points out the attention that National Nature Park "Synevyr" belongs to the Lands of natural-prohibited Fund of Ukraine and according to the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from 23.12.1993 it is under the Authority of Ministry on Nature and Environment Protection. According to the Minis trey, there was no coordination regarding the transmission of the national park. Moreover, according to the Land Code, lands that are history and culture fond subjects and nature preserving subjects are forbidden to transmit into municipal property.
"The following situation bothered not only scientists, ecologists and journalists of Zakarpattia but the whole Ukraine. Moreover the Deputies of Uzhgorod City Council appealed to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in order to conduct pre-termed elections of Zakarpattia Council, because of the numerous Law violations", - Mykola Tomenko stressed.
Consequently Mykola Tomenko appeals to the profile Committee in order to solve the problem of "Synevyr" Park and to involve law enforcing bodies.
